The only compensation we receive is a fee. The fee is about 1% of the value of the portfolio annually, although this can vary given special circumstances. Fees are calculated quarterly based on market values at the close of the markets on the last trading day of each quarter. For accounts that begin or end during a quarter, fees are prorated. Either party may terminate the relationship at any time by written notice.
