I began to focus in this sector when I read a quote by Vernon Healy, a Florida Securities Arbitration Attorney. He said, “Women are more dissatisfied with the financial services industry than any other industry that affects their daily lives.” I began a lengthy research project to determine why this was the case.

Women complained in a 2010 survey by Mr. Healy that they were treated with disrespect and given poor advice specifically because of their gender. What do women want in a financial advisor?
